The existing floor coating had significantly worn over time, with surface failure, open joints and cracking throughout the area. The client required a hygienic, non slip and chemical resistant flooring system suitable for commercial kitchen compliance and daily wash down conditions.

The existing flooring was mechanically removed and the concrete substrate diamond ground to prepare for installation. Cracks and joints were repaired and epoxy coving installed to wall perimeters to create a seamless and easier to clean finish.

A heavy duty Hybrid Urethane flooring system was installed providing:
• P5 slip resistance
• Chemical resistance
• Moisture tolerance
• Thermal shock and cool room resistance
• Heavy duty thicker build than conventional epoxy coatings
• Hygienic seamless finish suitable for commercial kitchen environments

The completed flooring system delivered a durable, compliant and easy to maintain surface designed for long term performance in demanding food preparation conditions.
