Cameron produces a wide range of pressure control and rig systems for onshore and offshore drilling; land and platform production systems and subsea production and processing systems.

Cameron designed and built its warehouse to store, test and repair it’s under sea equipment. Several deep water testing tanks were purpose built and more than 5000m2 of internal concrete that needed to be made impermeable from oils from the equipment repair process and also water from the testing process all done inside their massive new premises.

EFP worked with Cameron to design a system that would handle the extreme weight of the machinery being lifted to and from process areas, but also the level of oil and water the floor is subject to, from seeping into the concrete underneath.

Cameron’s time schedule meant EFP had to complete the job in sections so other works could continue. The concrete was etched to remove any contamination from vehicles and other works taking place followed by a heavy duty epoxy resin high build system with non-slip finish top coat, providing an impermeable, hardwearing and scratch resistant floor perfect for longevity even under extreme conditions.
