Gloucester Parks premium restaurant, with stunning views of the race course and swan river as the back drop. The Beau Rivage restaurant is located on the second storey of the iconic building.
With the Beau Rivage being completely renovated and the kitchen gutted, EFP in conjunction with GFSA tailored a flooring system that would tick all the boxes for the high traffic kitchen, cool room and wash rooms. The floor needed to cope with the weight of the cooking equipment as well as the harsh cleaning chemicals and procedures needed to sterilise the floor.
The floor level needed to be raised and falls installed to ensure liquids would run to drains. EFP installed 100mm epoxy screed system to give the floor the impact resistance it needs and also cope with the weight being put on it whilst also being completely water proof to stop water and bacteria harbouring in the concrete underneath. Floor to wall epoxy coving was also installed to create a seamless and water proof surface for wash down and ease of cleaning. A final non-slip epoxy finish was installed to insure a safe working environment for staff and to seal the epoxy screed.
