The new surf club has replaced the old outdated facility and include a gymnasium area and administration and bar facilities. The commercial tenancies will be leased to private restaurant and retail businesses and will provide a much needed vibrant social hub on the beach front.

EFP in conjunction with Tino and Co concrete contractors, have installed protective coatings to 4000-5000m2 of exposed aggregate concrete pathways and entrances around the surf club, carpark and beach line. The concrete being subject to extremely harsh environments including salt water from the ocean being only 50m away and heavy foot traffic from beach goers, EFP has been tasked with etching the concrete, removing any dirt or marks and finally installing a surface coating capable of withstanding the conditions. A specialist product was required for these conditions and EFP installed a high end long lasting protective coating using advanced application methods.
